This piece is inspired by Hieronymus Bosch’s painting The Garden of Earthly Delights.
Thought of as a cross section of the earth, this hand sculpted ring shows swirling metal roots, ending in branches with sparse leaves, where a butterfly has landed, limply rising toward the sky.
